Sam
I miss my Song Kheng Hai kids!
Singing with them, playing and joking around with them, teasing them, scolding them, making fun of them with them, creating chaos and dealing with it, learning Mandarin and English from each other.
They were the best kids to teach.. the best 8 year olds I could ever have.
Was just reminiscing..
On the last day of practicum, a tiny little boy came up to me - his name?
Sam.
He was the most well-behaved and well-mannered boy in the whole class. He spoke fluent English for a non-native speaker, and had those big innocent eyes whenever he'd ask "Ms. Grace, can I help you?".
Anyway.. I bent down and he whispered into my ear "Teacher, did you open my gift? There's money inside,"
I was shocked! What was this tiny little boy doing giving money to me.
We went to look for his gift, opened it.. and true enough, there was a RM1 note stuck in there.
Cute little Sam.. He was so kind, so thoughtful, so generous.
HE WAS SO CUTE!
I must stalk him on FB when he's older.
